About

Roses Social

  • UXUI + Brand + Photography

Upon its initial launch, Roses Social was envisioned as a haven for food enthusiasts with a penchant for fusion and inventive culinary creations. Within the restaurant, the menus underwent meticulous curation, seamlessly blending Tex-Mex influences with a contemporary flair. I played an integral role in the rebranding efforts of Roses Social, striving to infuse a sense of whimsy and quirkiness while preserving an essence of luxury and style. My responsibilities encompassed thorough research and the design implementation of a new website reflective of the rebrand. Additionally, all the images featured were exclusively captured in-house, with my role extending to that of the primary photographer for the brand.

Kasamoto

  • Branding + Editorial + Photography

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Yorkville,

Kasamoto stands as an iconic pan-Asian restaurant with deep roots in the hearts of many Torontonians.

I count myself lucky to be a part of this incredible establishment. My role involves a mix of tasks, including promotional assets/campaigns, attending design needs, and delving into photography. As for me and my team, we share a collective dream of propelling Kasamoto to the pinnacle of Toronto's culinary scene, surpassing not only in culinary excellence but also in design and production.

Under Dust

  • Branding & photography

I've had the best fun designing brand identity for UnderDust. The mood of the brand is very fun-loving cosmetic products. The targeted consumer is people from the range of 20s-30s. The outcome includes packaging design in 3 SKUs and a logo.

The most challenging part is the process of selecting packaging material. We're aware and concerned about how consumer would percieved our design, if we pick the wrong material for the product then it might not work. Fortunately cardboard canister came out looking very good and suitable for the product, promoting a sustainable, eco-friendly brand.

Work

FD Property

  • UX/UI Design

I was fortunate enough to be a part of FD

design team to help re-create their official website. Responsible for UX (research, wireframe) and UI (appearance design) .

I was assigned as a secondary designer to help brainstorm and design the layout along with the art director. The website is supposed to present the company's new branding and its new real estate project. The challenge of this part is to consider new user that does not have knowledge about real estate and how the design a layout that does not appear too overwhelming or too intimidating
